Dec.2024-	Beijing Key Laboratory of Rotating Detonation Propulsion Technology and Applications was Approved for Establishment.
May.2024-	All faculty and staff officially moved into the Changping Scientific Research Base for their work.
Jan.2024-	The Communist Party of China Committee for the Aero Engine Research Institute was set up.
Nov.2021-	The first batch of pilot platform programs was established at Scientific Research Base of Changping District，Beijing.
Sep.2021-	The 2030 Development Strategy of IAE was released
Aug.2020-	The first batch of post-graduate students was enrolled by IAE.
Mar.2020-	The cooperation agreement in terms of aero engine was signed with Jiaxing City, with the launching of Jiaxing Branch and Research Base underway.
Dec.2019-	The program of “large new-generation platform of integrated research on aero engines” was approved by Ministry of Education.
Dec.2018-	The Advisory Committee of Academician Experts was set up.
Dec.2018-	The IAE was officially inaugurated.
Oct.2018-	GAN Xiaohua was appointed by Tsinghua University as the first president of IAE.
Dec.2017-	The IAE was established as a substantive body at Tsinghua University.
Jan.2012-	Institute for Aero Engine (IAE), Tsinghua University was established and operated as a non-substantive scientific institution.
