Research Summary
Dr. Ai He has long been engaged in research on control systems for aero engines and gas turbines. As a principal investigator, he has led and participated in numerous research projects, including interdisciplinary programs at Tsinghua University, the Beijing SME Innovation Fund, horizontal research projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, civil aircraft special projects funded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), fundamental research under the major national project, and projects related to heavy-duty gas turbines.
He has played a key role in the development of control systems for heavy-duty gas turbines, turbofan/turbojet aero engines, and aero-derivative gas turbines.
Dr. He has received several honors and awards, including:
· Second Prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award
· Third Prize of the AECC (Aero Engine Corporation of China) Science and Technology Award
· First Prize of the Science and Technology Innovation Award by the China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development
· Second Prize of the Invention and Entrepreneurship Achievement Award by the China Association of Inventions
He currently serves as a member of the Aerospace Triple-Network Control Subcommittee and as a youth editorial board member for the journals Propulsion Technology and Acta Aeronautica et Astronautica Sinica.
