Internal and external flow aerodynamics, turbomachinery aero-thermodynamic layout design, high-loaded fan/compressor design.
Research Overview
Fei Teng has been engaged in the research of turbomachinery aerodynamic design, with a focus on the development and refinement of aerodynamic design systems. He has developed a through-flow design and optimization platform tailored for the compression system of variable cycle engines. His research covers aerodynamic and thermodynamic layout design and optimization of turbomachinery, aerodynamic performance modeling of high-loaded compressors, and unsteady flow analysis.
