Research Interests
Internal and external flow aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, gas turbines and jet propulsion, air-breathing hypersonic flight propulsion, and advanced turbomachinery design technologies, high-loaded fan/compressor design.
Research Overview
Engaged in research on the flow mechanisms, flow control, and aerodynamic design of aero-engine fans/compressors, He had proposed the endwall vortex generator technology, a three-dimensional blade corner stall prediction factor, and the endwall flow field optimal chosen control technology. He had also explored the aerodynamic and thermodynamic layouts of highly loaded fans, small-sized vaneless counter-rotating fans/compressors, and axial supersonic through-flow fans. Additionally, He had developed the internal flow CFD calculation program TurboSim. He had published more than 30 academic papers and have been granted 9 invention patents.
