During a new era and a new century, Tsinghua University is determined to pass on and learn from founding spirt and experience of Institute of Nuclear Energy, develop Institute of Aero Engine, take full advantage of collaborative innovation, and contribute wisdom to theory and technology development of aero engine study around the world.

Founding of Institute of Aero Engine of Tsinghua University (henceforth referred to as IAE) is highly regarded and recognized by the state. IAE focuses on theorical research, faculty development and state-of-the-art technology, explores roadmap for independent development of aeroengine for our country, contributes both theory and technology for “higher, further, faster, and smarter” next-generation aero engine, and develops IAE as a world-class institute for theorical innovation and facultys development.
